OPENING NIGHT

2008

What a great opening night we had!!! About 60 souls came and everyone commented on "this is the true beginning of summer"! What a great thing to hear!  We had lots of visitors (YAY Texas!), multiple birthday celebrations and tons of great food and fun!  The teenagers behaved (HAND CHECK!) as did the adults! Congrats to Ani for being the first winner of the Best Seat in the House - which she shared with her sister Emily and Mom!!! And congrats to Mark for being the winner of Movie Jeopardy!!

The Simpsons Movie

12 noon backyard temp: 104 degrees

6pm start time: 100 degrees!!! yikes

A great time was had by all inspite of the freakishly hot weather

we have been having the past few days here in San Diego.

The pink donuts were a hit and congrats to Terry for knowing the color of Marge's hair!! She won

a CD of music from artisits who have appeared on The Simpsons!
